URGENT! MacBook Air won’t turn on after battery died

Hello,

A week ago I was on my MacBook Air 13-inch (2017) and it was around 5% and I let it die thinking I could charge it later. I didn’t charge it till 3 days later. Because I was using my phone at that time. Then 3 days later I tried to use my laptop again for work related stuff but it wouldn’t turn on at all!

It had the green light at first as I was charging it. But after a while there was no more light. It just won’t turn on.

Can someone tell me what might have gone wrong and what I need to do to fix it?
