Samsung Model RS253BAWW ice maker not dispensing ice

My Samsung refrigerator will not dispense all the ice after it is made. The maker will turn the tray to twist the ice out but will not dispense all the ice. The first couple of molds in the front of the tray stay full of ice. Water will fill up the tray and as it cycles over and over more ice is being left in the tray dammed up. Eventually the tray dams up so bad no ice will dislodged when the tray twist and water dumps over the ice tray and into the bucket where it freezes into a large block while runs out the dispenser into the floor.

I have replaced the unit yet it has not fixed the problem. Hoping to find a solution here as I'm out of ideas.

How long ago did you replace the unit?

Two days ago. Seems to be doing alright now. Front couple of ice cubes in the tray still will not come out when the tray turns but haven't had any water leaking out.

Now I am having issues with the water tank that is located behind the lower food drawers freezing and not allowing water to come out of the dispensers.
