Why my iPod Classic Gen 6 does not show up?

I cannot do anything with my iPod; the screen is black: the buttons do not work. When I connect it to computer, the screen turns on and off and on and off continuously. Sometimes it connects, but only after 5 minutes it dies again. Can anyone help?

Did anything happen to it or did this that start all of a sudden? Your clickwheel is always unresponsive? Does it still charge? Have you tried an AC wall charger?

I remember forgeting to turn it off when play in repeat mode, so the iPod played all night. That's the only thing happened. Yes, my clickwheel is unresponsive, but it still charges.

trantuanh1234 BTW how did you determine that it was charging if your display and clickwheel does not work. Depending on this, it could be as simple as the battery. Since your screen as well as your clickwheel wont work, I would go ahead and open the iPod up. Check for corrosion to the logic board. Make sure that the clips that hold the clickwheel and display cable in place are properly fastened. You might try to clean the board according to this guide. worst case scenario, you may need to start replacing parts. You could start with a new display, just to make sure that your logic board is working or you will need a new logic board. With all the errors occurring at the same time, my gut feeling is that it is your logic board.
