My New 3DS turns on and then off with a popping sound.

After spilling around a third of a cup of dilute orange juice back in 2016, when I turn on my New Nintendo 3DS, the blue light comes on for about three seconds and then the bottom screen flashes for less than a second and instantly turns off which is accompanied with a popping noise. The humidity sticker near the battery is untouched and when I disassembled the New 3DS there were no signs of corrosion or water damage to the motherboard. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

@wheatley since you have known liquid damage you want to go ahead and at least try and clean the board as well as peripherals that are attached to it. Use something like this guide Repairing iPhone Liquid Damage for the cleaning. Even so it was written for an iPhone, the principal is the same. While you do that take a really close look at all the components, check for corrosion, discoloration, missing components etc. Post some good pictures of your board with your question so that we can see what you see.
