My JBL Flip 4 right radiator is making a weird crackling noise

Two words - dead driver. The unit will require a teardown and some soldering. Guide at: JBL Flip 4 Front Active Speaker Replacement

Your Youtube video seems to be no longer available but I can confirm that I’ve had crackling noises in combination with battery issue with my flip 4 and a battery replacement was the solution, it seems when the drivers cant get enough power they start to crackle.
