iPhone still shows no service

My iphone has been water damaged (dropped in water for less than a minute). I've threw in a bowl of rice for days but It was diplaying no service and won't let me make any calls/txt at all. The front and back camera are water damaged too I assume because they won't work.

Weird thing is that it still reads wifi, charges, plays music, vibrate, etc.

I recently replaced the front and back camera and the proximity sensor, windexed/wiped the metal parts and double checked too but it's still not working.

could it be the logic board? would I have to replace it and how would I know if I have to replace that?

Pls, any advice you all have would help.

thank you.

Unfortunately there is no telling what exactly has been effected when it comes to liquid damage. Sometimes everything bar one function of the iPhone will work, sometimes hardly anything will work, sometimes half will work and half won't. I know that there are i4 Logic boards for sale on eBay, but i don't know if they are very reliable. You basically have two options.

One - Leave it as it is and use with iPod functionality, buy a second cheap phone and use that for communications (thats what i used to do with my iTouch and crappy LG phone before i could even afford an iPhone :P)

Two - Search online for a replacement Logic Board. You aren't going to get a brand new one unless you buy a new iPhone 4 or you somehow find someone very generous. Google is your friend. Make sure that before you buy it to get visual evidence that it does work and does have full functionality (video recording with current date).

Hope this helps! :)

Make sure the small cap antenna connector next to the battery connector is properly attached to the Logic Board.
