Dim screen Not 6r8?

I have a 3gs with a dim screen so i figured 6r8 coil i have done 2 before so i knew the symptoms. I replaced it and it still has dim screen i even tryed a different coil and still dim screened what else could it be?

3GS backlight issues seem to be caused by Display LCD, 6R8 coil, or IC 109B. If your LCD Display is good, then hopefully it is the 109B chip. This chip is right next to the coil.

I used one off a junk board and when I went to take the chip off my good board i pulled off one of the two pads underneath!!! Is my board junk now??

I think you need to comfirm your 6r8 is original, since many seller online sell 6r8,but a little bit difference with the one on the 3GS motherboard

I check a site ,the picture is same as on 3GS motherboard, and I get the items from them, it is original and can work
