network problem after changing the back cover

my iphone 3g had a perfectly working network but the unfortunate part was the back cover looked horrible.... so i had a anada iphone 3g which i cracked and had a mb prob so i swaped the back cover for it everything work fine BUT THE FACT THE NETWORK KEPT DROPPING stating 'NO SERVICE ' but the before it was on FULL 4 BARS but now deas hardly 1 or 2 any solution at first i thot its the GPS Antenna but i got anada one and swapped it but no luck

any solution guys :)

came up with an ugly solution got a silcon casing and put copper wire on it and added the iphone on top of it and success 4 bars :)

cancel tht lol the main prob is wen i hold it in my hand netwrok drops but if put out of my hand it remains

Chosen Solution

Your network antenna may have been bent, disconnected, or otherwise deformed. Try opening the phone and checking the antenna, making sure it's seated properly and connected in the right places.
