Controller batteries for PS4

Is the internal battery the same for the CUH-ZCT2 and the CUH-ZCT2U for PS4? Because I ordered a replacement battery ZCT2U but That was before I realized I had a ZCT2. Do both controllers use the same battery?

Options

Model numbers will have a country code suffix, but the core model remains the same. For example, the CUH-ZCT2U (United States) and CUH-ZCT2J (Japan) controllers contain the same components.
