Is a wrinkled iPhone battery safe

So after a battery repair, I found that my iPhone 5S battery is crinkled. It was never bent and it was taken out by the adhesive strips. Is it still safe to use? Will it expand? The tape is there because the adhesive wrap around the bottom of the battery was coming loose. I only plan to use this as a test battery, and not as a replacement. Is this still safe to use for brief testing? Thanks.

@booyahh looks like the outer wrapper is still intact. Yes, the battery is usable for your purpose. I just wouldn’t use it for a replacement :-)
