Possibility of Increasing RAM in Apple MacBook 12"

I have Apple MacBook 12” laptop of Mid 2017 (A1534 model). I am have 1.3 GHz version of 8GB RAM. Asking if I can now increase the RAM from 8GB to 16GB?

Not at all unfortunately, retina Macbook has a compact logic board with everything soldered on top, no upgrades are possible.

This is not true, I added 32gigs of ram (I just taped the other sticks next to the 8 gigs, unfortunately only the original 8 gigs of ram work, the other 26 are just their for moral support).
