Not Able to installed MAC OC 10.5 to external HDD

Wiring look ok. Tried external and able to partion it to apple partition but when I tried to installed the 10.5 MAC OS to the external HDD I m still unable to complete the installation.

You're probably trying to install to an external USB drive. Try a firewire drive, which you can boot from as opposed to a USB drive that you can't boot from.
