Bosch Nexxt 800, how do I get it to drain so I can open the door?

I read the useful thread on why Bosch Nexxt washers might get blocked drains. But is there any way to get it to drain manually now so I can get the clothes out, and get the door open, before I start looking at the various reasons it might be blocked? I’m assuming it’s a bad idea (or just un-necessary) to start working on it with door locked and full of water and clothes.  Do I then remove the lower front panel to get in a check the coin trap, the drain pump, etc.?

@stw yes, you do want to drain it first. Remove the lower panel and you can drain your washer from there. Careful so, there is going to be a big watery mess coming at you. Get a shopvac and lots of towels ready; there will also be quite a stink coming from the drain ;-). You’ll also find a green marked door latch cord that you can pull to release the front door. You have not told us what is going on with your washer and what you have tried. I would always start by running the diagnostic program
