Can I swap a logic board of a white MacBook 2007 with a 2009?

My goal is to bring an old MacBook 2007 to life by upgrading it to Mojave, using the following patch - http://dosdude1.com/mojave/

Unfortunately this model is unsupported, so I was thinking about swapping the logic board with a logic board from a white 2009 MacBook (which seems to be able to upgrade to Mojave) - Is this possible?

Well, Mojave on such Macs is a bit of a sad view..I’d stay with Sierra or High Sierra, but you can try for yourself. However, 2007 and 2009 Macbooks A1181 have several different cables/connectors and you can’t simply swap boards.

Thanks for the reply. There is an option to buy a case with the logic board on eBay, and put the original screen and case which are in great condition. Also saw a video on Youtube that gives me hope - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQ9gLCCx...
