Blu-ray problem reading disc

While loading a scene in Final Fantasy XIII, the system hang. Cannot eject the disc even after re-booting the system. Is the drive faulty?

Options

Try to turn off the system, then hold the eject button down, keep holding it down. Then turn the system back on. Do not let go of the eject button. there are some more ideas on here and here Good Luck and I hope it works.

Still no go. When I performed this task, the ps3 fan went into turbo mode for a few seconds and shut down with a red blinking light.
