Electronics Water Damage

After all the recommended procedures are accomplished, then reassembling and testing of for malfunctioning electronic components can be determined. Absolutely no guarantee that the device can be brought back to operating state though without outlay of $$ to replace components.

@yitzk you cannot recover any files from a dead iPod. Unless you get it to start up long enough to sync your files will be lost. Of course you want to make sure that you may have a backup in iTunes somewhere. You could restore your music from there (but NOT your iPod)

I think it’s hard to recover the music directly from your iPad. But if you have backed up the music, you can restore them from iTunes backup files. If you didn’t have a backup, you can still try iPad recovery tools to retrieve the music from the dead iPad.

I don’t think you can recover music from your damaged iPod without backup. Maybe you can ask help from pro data recovery shop. And, if there is a backup on iTunes, you can recover from iTunes backup directly.

Maybe you can try the damaged iPod data recovery tool. If it can scan out the deleted data, then recovery is possible. If not, you may ask repair shop for help.
