The phone continues to try and power itself off

I bought a 6s plus, and it will randomly try to shut itself off……any suggestions?

Update (07/20/2019)

I also meant to add that I did replace the battery, and it goes to the actual power off screen, where you would swipe to power it off or hit the X to cancel. It doesn't actually power off. My apologies to anyone who answered, I am new and didn't realize people actually helped, I will definitely be using this more often, as I have been teaching myself everything since I started, when iPhones were first invented.

If the phone is working with random shut downs it usually is a bad battery on this one. Try getting it replaced and see how it goes.

I apologize that it took me so long to reply to your answers.....I am new to using the question and answer forum portion of this site, or any site for that matter, I didn't realize people actually helped!! This is wonderful, because I pretty much teach myself everything, and have no one to bounce questions off of, so this is going to help me so much, as I am starting my own business in my home town.

Anyhow, back to business, lol........so I forgot to mention, I did already replace the battery, so I was wondering if you thought maybe trying to replace the power button flex cable would be the next best option? @arbaman @mayer

Maybe a worn out battery, check the info you can get from settings/battery, if it’s in a bad state you would see a low capacity percentage and a service battery notice.

How telling her how to test it on PC or Mac?

@mayer If it's a battery issue as it seems from behavior, it would be marked by iOs itself as service battery, not much need for further confirmation if we already have 2 matches.

All other answers are good too, I would suggest to check if your case is holding down the power button. I’ve experienced this issue on an android phone in the past.
