Fridge freezer not cooling in carcass but does when out of carcass

Kenwood KIFF5017 failed inside kitchen unit but when removed and plugged in outside a kitchen carcass it works. Back in the kitchen unit it fails within 24 hours . Just 14 months old. Any ideas or suggestions?

I take it you live in the UK.

I can absolutely no information about Kenwood even building a refrigerator.

But if I understand it correctly the Union requires a mandator 2 year warranty on any appliance. I’d got back to where I bought it and ask about the warranty.

Uk yes and currently in discussions with the seller... original offered solution not great,..

See if you can located the actual manufacturer and go to them.

If the seller is not treating you right, Google the warranty laws in the UK and then threaten a solicitor intervention.
