Values of SMD components on PS4 SAC-001 motherboard?

Hi All,

This is the first PS4 board I am trying to repair. IT has it’s HDMI port replaced already but they lost some components during the job I guess. There is a component just after the HDMI port, and then one behind it next to a ground pin, then one unrelated in the middle of the board. See pictures. Hopefully someone has an idea of what they are or can measure them (unlikely i know!). And yes, I know a junk board would be ideal, just don’t have one at the moment. Thanks

Did you ever find out the type/value of the missing component in the second picture (red rectangle)? I have the same problem. Thanks!

That component is a diode. The side with line on it goes up, the way board is orentated in that picture. Called Zener diode or DJ diode. others on board have "DJ" printed on them. Dot on PCB shows which way they go. check others to see dot on line side.

Hi, sorry to revive this thread, but does anyone know what the two small stacked components to the right of the missing diode are? One of them is missing on a PS4 I’m repairing. Thanks! Maybe @kefka?

Are you looking for what components go there? If you like i think i have the same motherboard i am trying to repair on a different issue (No USB) i can take some photos although with a cheap microscope and share those with you in the area you are looking?

I did not end up fixing that board. I stole some filters from it as they break very easily during repair. I have abandoned hope of fixing it due to the horrible job that was previously done on the HDMI port. If you need componenet values let me know and I can check as k have another board

Could someone tell me the value of this resistor? No continuity and no readings. I guess 450°c was a bit too hot for it :D

Hi Hans,

Could you figure out the value of the resistor? I have the same problem, I tried replacing the HDMI ic and now there is no continuity across that resistor.

I am thinking about buying a working ps4 just so I can compare the values between the faulty board and the known working one.

I am having similar issue. The resistor circled in picture (#2) is reading OL for me also and the one above it closest to edge of board (#1) is reading 22 ohms. I bought Ps4 knowing it had visible smashed HDMI port wanting to fix it, got new port on without ripping up pads and all 19 pins have good connection to break out HDMI board I used to test. I have a pile of xbox 360 consoles to take parts from if I know the values. anyone know what they should be? the OL one is connected to pin 7 and one close to edge of board is pin 1. If that helps.

it's 26K ohm resistor SMD, 0603 (1,6mm x 0,8mm).

22 ohms is what I found to be true. The PS4 I am working on turned out to have a bad HDMI ic so in process of replacing that now. From research I did 22 ohms is value of that resistor.

others on HDMI circuit are 2k ohms but that one is different.
