force touch sensor trouble

I replaces the digitizer on a apple watch series 3 but now force touch is not working. Do you think replacing the sensor would fix this? Is the sensor connected to the digitizer? Or is force touch separate?

Apple Watch Force Touch Sensor Replacement

This guide is how to replace it or check it. To me,it sounds like you may have either broken or disconnected it. It is replaceable luckily. Online in an iPhone with 3D Touch,force touch is a separate piece from the screen.
