Whirlpool model wdt790sayb3 won't spray water

My Whirlpool dishwasher will fill with water and go through the drain cycles. I can hear the electronics triggering, but it will not spray water. I replaced the inlet water valve, and that corrected the initial filling problem. But I still do not get water spraying from the jets. I checked to ensure that there is nothing clogging the jets or in the drain, I have also confirmed that the float is not obstructed or stuck. I have read multiple reviews on here regarding the door latch, door switch, or pump assembly. I simply do not know where to go with troubleshooting to determine if it is one of these three, or another problem. Please offer help or ask further questions if I need to provide more detail. Thank you.

Lots of causes for this. Start here so you can get a better idea of how it works and what parts are involved.

Please give us your model number.

The model number is wdt790sayb3 . I've already replaced the water inlet valve, and checked all the spray heads. I'm trying to determine if anyone knows if there is a way to trouble shoot between the door switch or door latch (both inexpensive fixes) or the pump and motor assembly (expensive fix). Thanks.

Hey Cody.

Might want to consider obstructed or defective spray arm tube. This part delivers water to the spray arms.

Seriously make sure the latch on the door is shutting. It's more than likely literally that simple
