Power supply connector snapped off

My power supply connector has broken off my motherboard, and i still cannot seem to get it out. Im currently trying to to resolder the wire onto the motherboard. Any help would be appreciated and to know if this is even fixable.

is this worth even getting fixed? How much would it cost? and would it be suitable to just buy a new console?

This is fixable, but not for a DIYer. The console needs to be taken to a reputable console repair store that does board-repairs for PS4s. You may be able to find someone locally that offers this kind of service.

Two of the right pads for the PSU cable connector have been ripped off making it impossible to resolder back on. So something else in place must be added such as a thin strong copper shim to conduct to act as the solder pad to solder the connector back on firmly. Jumper wires must be placed for those two missing pads to re-do the connection to the board. Better to leave repairing this connector to a professional for this kind of damage.

is it worth me getting it repaired or should i just buy a new console?

Definitely worth getting repaired. If it can be done for around $90 that is a good price.

Get some quotes first locally in your area and decide whether it's better to buy a new console or get it repaired. If it gets too close to the price of a 2nd hand / new console you may not want to get it repaired.
