My iPhone 6s touch id does not work anymore after dropped on ground

Hi there, as per topic. My iPhone 6s’s touch ID no longer able to activate after I dropped it on ground. However the home button is still workable and functional just that the fingerprint does not work anymore. May I know what problem is that? Thanks!

The problem is most likely caused by a partially torn home button cable.

It may get worse later on so if it completely stops working the home button must be replaced, note that replacing the home button will result in no touch ID but a functional button.

If you have Apple fix it the touch ID will work.
