I spilled hot cocoa on my MacBook

I spilled hot chocolate On my MacBook and quickly dried it off with a paper towel I went in between the keys and let it dry then I used it again the trackpad was weird so I left it to dry overnight it won’t power on so I left it to dry for 2 weeks and it Still won’t power on HELP!!!!!!!

Letting the thing dry was a bad idea, things get worse with time rather than taking care of themselves. If you are lucky you’ll have to replace the topcase, maybe battery, but that depends on where the chocolate drink has reached and the damage caused. You should start by removing I/O board and logic board and visually check their condition. Then start cleaning following the guide supplied below and hope for the best.
