Upgrading the Ram on iMac 2019

Hello, i recently bought an iMac with the base 8GB of ram, and i was wondering if it was possible to simply get one 8GB ram moddule, or it’s necessary to get another two 4Gb moddules.

PS: i want to upgrade to 16GB

Options

Using a pair modules will give you better performance than a single SODIMM. Both configurations will work.
