How to fix iPhone stuck at Apple logo

Ok, so after trying to restore my iPhone 5 it would just give me errors (4005, 4013) but this morning and afternoon the phone was working just fine, now it just shows the apple logo but never boots up, what can I do?

Hello there!

It’s hard to say what exactly had happen to your device. Errors that occur on your recovery are pointing to memory issue hat is very common with Apples cheap-as-!&&* component selection.

I would suggest you to manage a proper hard restore on Recovery/DFU mode (check on Google how to run it on your device) and proceed. If you would get 40xx error you should consider changing your phone unless you do not want to change motherboard or re-solder ROM chip

If your iPhone keeps giving errors and now won’t get past the start screen, you may have to use iTunes to reinstall the iPhone’s operating system. You can do this without losing your data:

  1. Download and install iTunes on a laptop or desktop computer.
  2. Connect your iPhone to your computer via USB, and start iTunes.
  3. Press and hold the Home button and Side button on your iPhone. This will take you to a screen that will give you prompts to follow.
  4. Click Update. The latest version of iOS that works on your device should install and still keep your data.
