Wont turn on after DC-Inboard Replacement Solved

Hey Everyone,

I just replaced my DC-Inboard after the old one was burnt out. I’ve just had a complete battery replacement also from the apple store, but they forgot to change the inboard so I did it myself.

Used the guide, all went smooth. Until I went to test it out. The first few times the battery empty symbol came up (as it was actually empty after sitting for so long), now nothing happens at all.

The only noticeable thing is that when I plug the charger in, the fans attempt to start repeatedly, and there is a faint ticking noise. This just continues so long as the charger is plugged in. Additionally the charger light does not light up at all.

Has anyone any ideas on what might have happened?

I’m deployed in afghanistan so all repair is self repair right now.

Thanks

Si

Fixed now. Installed the old one again then reinstalled the new one again.
