I need to access data from an internal hard drive on an Xbox one.

I am trying to retrieve data from an internal hard drive. I’m looking for uploaded videos and photos that are possibly on there. The photos are of a sensitive nature. How can I gain access to the drive? Can you remove it and set it up with a pc/laptop?? Thanks

  1. Connect a USB storage device to your existing Xbox One. Note Storage must be USB 3.0 or faster and 256 GB or larger. ...
  2. Open the guide and go to System > Settings > System > Backup & transfer > Back up my settings, and then follow the on-screen instructions to save your backup to your storage device.
