Unable to hear any sound from the phone.

I recently damaged the digitizer on my LG m430 and had to replace it with a new frame. After installing the new frame and moving all the parts from the old frame, I realised that I could not hear any sound from the phone other than during calls. I noticed that the only thing that my new frame doesn’t have in the flex cable to the bottom left-hand side that is attached to the old frame and was wondering if that had anything to do with the issue.

Yes, usually flex cables are very important. If it doesn’t work with the flex cable than it might be a Motherboard issue
