Hi @kirell ,

Here’s a link to the service manual for your laptop.

Scroll to p.62 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove/ replace the fan.

If the fan is faulty and needs to be replaced then also on p.62 you’ll find the part number for the fan - 702859-001

if you search online using the part number only in the search term of your browser, you’ll get results for suppliers of the part.

Well I went in blind, I would say it was moderate or even hard, I had to keep track of 2 kinds of screws and pull out a lot of wires and stuff, then I had to move copper coil to get fan out. Then I found out the sad truth… that my fan is broken, but I did clean it so that’s a plus. I have to find a replacement fan, at least now I know how to get near to the most things in my laptop.

I had a feeling your fan might be broken. If you had to remove the heat sink to get the fan out, make sure you apply new thermal paste when reinstalling.

First, did you check youtube? Make sure you have the right tools and take your time. Fans are usually pretty easy to get to. I found iFixit looking for a guide to take my laptop apart. There wasn’t one so I created a guide. You should do the same, pass on what you learn. Good Luck.
