I have broken on/off switch what kind is it? SPST, Normally Open, or what? I see the two little wires that come from the back of the switch, Just wanted to replace it with common stock items.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you, I thought it was a NO, but since it had broken off, It would come on as if power had been out and had then been restored.

It’s a simple push-button under spring pressure normally open.

If you can find the Bottom Housing Apple P/N 076-1210 it comes with the button.

Here’s one source Bottom Cover for Mac mini Early - Late 2006 & Mid 2007 It’s only $5.00 How can you go wrong!

If you live in the UK or EU Bottom Cover for Mac mini Early - Late 2006 & Mid 2007 It’s a bit more $25.00 ;-{ Maybe you can haggle a bit.

I have several SPST and a handful of NO's regular round red push button types, so I have one for free.

You need a momentary contact switch (push button with spring) not a SPST
