MacBook charges but not powering on after replacing top case

Ordered replacement top piece with keyboard in from ifixit & replaced top piece. Machine charges but not powering on

What happen that you replaced the upper case?

When you replaced the top case, you might’ve damaged something on the motherboard with the pick or spudger that you used. I recommend that you go into the laptop from the bottom or top and do an inspection where you used a spudger or pick.
