Touch ID not working
my home key is working but i try to put my touch ID it’s say fails

Either the home button has gone bad or has been replaced before. It can also be caused by liquid damage.
Usually requires cleaning up the home button connector with isopropyl alcohol near the home button if it is corroded from liquid damage.
When replacing the home button there will be no touch ID as it only accepts the home button that came with the phone for touch ID.
