i figured it out. I installed a 3rd party fan control. I had to manually set the temperatures so the three fans could spin up. It was weird because it was set to auto and it would not do a thing.

Another good reason not to use software and use the in-line sensor.

The thermal sensor should be responsible for this issue, you need to find a way to reduce the RPM of the internal fan down to the usual range. You may solve the problem with the help of reliable third-part software.

Yes, I bought the 1tb upgrade from ifixit and installed the In-line Thermal Sensor. I also try using a 3rd party fan control program and it does not seem to work.

Lets try running the onboard diagnostics to see if an error pops. Restart your system and press the D key.

by

Ok so i just booted it up and the fans are running really fast now, and the third party app says that there is no fans detected

by

And what did diagnostics tell you?

by

It says "No trouble found". I hear a fan turn on in the diagnostics. Currently the temperature is at 111 degrees Fahrenheit and the fans are not spinning at all,
