Cuisinart Convection Toaster Oven that has a humming/grinding sound

Hi, That is a lot of really great knowledge you shared. However, the noise is regarding a convection oven. I have a Cuisinart Convection Toaster Oven that has a humming/grinding sound. It was never quiet on convection baking which is what I use the most. This deeper humming with a grinding guttural sound seems new to my ears. It worked as usual today. Do any of your "microwave" components listed above apply to non-microwave convection ovens? Thank you!

The Convection Oven's internal fan likely has either bad bearings or brushes. If it's an old convection oven, it's more likely the brushes. In any case, you'll need to replace this fan motor. (It's not a magnetron!)

Convection Fan Makes Strange Noise. The convection fan is the internal fan in the ovenused to circulate hot air evenly throughout the oven. It turns on and off at regular intervals and has a quiet, low humming noise.

Your grinding noise is probably the magnetron going bad. This is a very dangerous part to work on (I won’t touch these). I’d run it till it dies and save up for a new one. Here’s a video on it:

I believe the video is for a microwave, not a convection oven.
