Do not boot with power cable plug in

Macbook do not boot when power cable plug in. Performed hardware diag- 4sns....I01C.

But on battery working fine. Sometimes black

screen after sleep mode.

just checked output voltage from power cord -okay 16.5 v +-

tried to start without battery- same problem

yes, but when light is green- no boot,

when light is orange- okay, boot fine

with green light- trouble with wake up

unplugged magsafe-no any issues

Check the pins on the AC adapter. Move them to see if they are free and not stuck with a toothpick. Next check the out put with a multimeter. See the pinout on the right side of this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MagSafe

Check the magsafe input on the Book for crud and/or corrosion and clean it. Test with another AC adapter. You may need to replace the adapter or the MagSafe board.

Are you getting a light on the AC adapter?
