okay so dropping my phone isn’t uncommon for me, but after i dropped it recently the screen is coming off, that’s happened before, but the middle of my screen is unresponsive to my touch I’m getting it fixed on Sunday but I’m scared that getting my screen replaced wont fix the problem and i really dont want to get a new phone. will replacing the screen fix it?

The first thing to try is to replace the screen. However, because you have dropped your phone in the past, it may also be suffering from something similar to Touch Disease on the iPhone 6 Plus. This is much less common on the iPhone 6 but the main symptoms can still occur on phones that get dropped, bent or twisted on a regular basis.

So try the screen first. If that solves your problem - great! If not, then consider having your phone looked at by an experienced micro-solderer.
