Is it possible to replace an iPhone X display and keep Face ID?

I’ve searched both YouTube and just generally on the internet without finding any good answers. So my question is, is it possible to replace a cracked original iPhone X display, and replace it with a generic/unbranded one and still keep Face ID? Will it still work?

Face ID will work if you swap the top sensor cable, however True Tone and auto brightness will require copying the display calibration data over.

Even if you do copy the data, the color tone would not work like original.
