Is it possible to restore an iPhone 7 plus without the front camera?

I was wondering if my iPhone 7 plus will restore succesfully via iTunes even if it has the front camera flex cable not attached or missing

I think that if it was on an early ios then no as they don't like to boot without it connected but assuming its an ios 12 then I think your ok.
