Screen issues after battery replacement, screen film stuck to battery

Replaced the battery and the screen was acting jumpy. I reopened the case and the film on the backside of the screen was stuck to the battery. Is this the problem and if so, how do I fix? The film is now bunched together and I cannot unbunch it.

Has the screen ever been replaced on this phone before? It sounds like someone installed a replacement screen and forgot to remove the protective layer.

The easiest way to tell is to attach a picture to your question.

What do you mean film on the back of the screen. There should only be a metal

There is a very very thin piece of gray/black film that was attached to the backside of the display internally, and that is what peeled off by sticking to the battery which it was touching.
