Now not powering on since topcase replacement

Hi This is my first post but long time reader.

Yesterday I replaced my topcase for my 2010 macbook Pro. Before I started it was up and running good as (reason to swap was spanish Keyboard which had annoying key combos)

I purchased the replacement from overseas(second hand but warranted). All went together beautifully but whenI went to power up it didn't. I guess tonight I can go back to old topcase but do you guys have any ideas. Power seems to be no issue battery is showing as charging and shows charge on the indicator. There is no HDD or fan movement.

Thanks in advance Paul

First reseat your logic board to keyboard cable. Next reinstall your old keyboard. If the old keyboard works, then the new one is most likely bad. Please give us the last three figures of your serial number so we know for certain which machine you have and maybe we can find you a reliable replacement.

The top case is part# 661-5590. A French one is F661-5590, a Spanish would be S661-5590. Just put the first letter of the language in front of the number and do a web search.

I would have thought all the topcases for this model would have been able to be used on each other.
