I have an ipod classic 7th gen and I have a 3000 mah battery for upgrade.

Does the ipod video thick version back housing fit on my 7th gen classic?

Yes, are you using a large housing accommodate the battery? That is a huge battery, the normal is 540mAh at 3.7 V. That means your battery is 5 times bigger. Can you post a picture?
