Try this out. Use sd card formatter from this link https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatt... Make sure when the sd card is put in it locks in with a clicking sound. next the harddrive flex must be pushed all the way into the iflash make sure it’s all the way in and cannot be pushed any further and then push down the lock now try connecting it to system.

It’s a bad hard drive. it’s not 7th gen it’s 6th gen only remember if you are upgrading through iflash it’s limited to 120 gb.

It seems like the harddisk is damaged. Try restoring it if you can or you can try checking the harddrive sector here's the YouTube video try that if you have lot of pending sectors you have to replace the harddrive. You can look into iflash adapters https://youtu.be/ayVJRMcUE5M

Seems like the button which is attached to the board is damaged. The button is soldered to the board and there’s no replacement for the buttons. Option 1. Get an old ipod and salvage the button from it and solder them Option 2. Go to your itunes and restore your ipod. it’ll reset your ipod to factory settings. Go to your Itunes create a single playlist for your entire song collection and sync it. Then navigate to playlists and start playing your songs Option 3. Use rockbox software for ipod

It’s sad that you messed up the ipod video There’s no thin version ipod video both 60gb and 80gb are thick ones If it’s a metal front you are talking about Ipod Classic 6th gen/7th gen. You can get entire housing and the battery from aliexpress/ebay Just search the serial number/model number online to get the right model details

Just check the ribbon connector to the Iflash card is connected properly and when you inserted a Sd card it should give a clicking sound. If it still doesn’t work it could be a faulty iflash card
