iPhone 7 Plus is unresponsive after a repair done by a repair shop!

My cousin recently got his iPhone 7 Plus repaired at a "professional” iPhone Repair shop and it seems like after the repair it intermittently stops responding at all. Any touch inputs would not be registered until I took my kit to the phone and unplugged the battery. Once the battery is unplugged, I connected the battery once more and turned on the phone. It works. However 3 days later, the screen is once again unresponsive. I am not sure what iOS version the device is on, but I am seeking any answer to my questions! Any help would be appreciated!

It’s either a bad screen, screen not sitting flush at the bottom (bottom of screen would be pushing up or have a gap) or at worst caused by a fault on the logic board.

Usually it’s the first two, and worst case when the phone is bent.

It could be a bad screen, but I am not sure at all. I'm not sure what you mean by flush to the bottom, if you mean if there's a gap between the pentalope screws and the home button portions of the screen, there isn't it looks flawlessly integrated within the phone. I don't see any gaps around the screen at all, or by the plastic edges. The phone's physical build isn't bent in anyway and looks like it's been kept in good condition.

Flush to the bottom means the screen would look like it's being pushed up by something under the screen at lower bottom section of the screen.

As the phone has been kept in good condition then it is most likely just a bad screen.
