Hello. I have an HP 15-1039wm laptop with a broken screen casing/back cover. I have searched high and low for a replacement cover, but cannot find one for this particular model. HP 15-f039wm comes up quite frequently, though. Are these the same computer? Or are they different? Anyway, any help locating a replacement cover would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I could only find two HP laptops that have a model number with 1039wm in it and only one HP 15 that has a model number of f039wm (although there are some other HP 15 ?039wm models, e.g. ay039wm, g039wm to name two more)
Verify which is your exact model by checking on the label found on the underside of the laptop.
You may also be able to identify your model by comparing it to the images below showing the right side of the laptop or by measuring the display - diagonally, as they are all different

Once you have the correct model number, click on the correct link above (if it is one of them), then click on the User guides link and find the link to the maintenance and service guide.
If your model is not one of the above, search online for HP (insert model number) support then find the maintenance and service guide as shown above.
Download the guide and in it you’ll find the part number for the required parts.
Search online using the part number only in the search box of your browser, to find suppliers of the parts.
