pop up ads on s8
got a customer brought his new Samsung S8 in because everytime he opens his phone he is assaulted with junk mail type ads. Anybody else running into this and any solutions?

go to settings>google>personal info & privacy>ads personalisation- switch it off. worked for our S8

It is also likely that there could be adware running on the phone.
... adware is usually generated from the browser used, with android it is usually google which is preinstalled which is why i suggested it. could be chrome, could be fb.
