How to remove this stripped screw?

Hi all,

I own a Macbook Pro Early 2015 model and have been trying to get the trackpad cable replaced. I did replace it but it stopped working after a week, and so I'm getting a new one and replacng the part again. Unfortunately, one of the screws that secures the cable wound up getting stripped completely.

I found some solutions to this online, but I don't want to shell out 100 dollars buying each tool and testing each one! Looking at the pictures, what approach do you think I should take at this point? Would getting the pliers be better or using a rotary?

I would appreciate any help with this!
