Why can't I hear out of my headphones?

So i’ve had this problem for a while now. And have done my research so far nothing has helped.

Basically one day I wanted to listen to music and put headphones on and they were plugged in but the music would only come out of the phone and no the headphones and when I record videos with my phone it doesn’t sound. I’m not sure what is the problem. And the headphones are good. I checked on other devices. Just not on my phone

If the headphones have been tested, then the next step is the Lightning port. It’s relatively easy to try a new Lightning port, you don’t even have to remove the old one to test it. Just disconnect the old one (battery first!), then overlay the replacement one, reconnect the battery and then test the headphones again. Check out this guide for details on how to open up the phone and (eventually) replace the Lightning Port completely if necessary.

If that doesn’t solve you’re problem, then a logic board issue is the likely culprit, in which case you’d want to have this looked at by a micro-solderer. The iPhone 7 is prone to audio related issues caused by a weak copper trace on the logic board.

hi mate try this and let me know

Go to Settings > Sounds and drag the Ringer And Alerts slider to turn the volume up. If you hear sound from the speaker, follow the rest of these steps. If you can't hear sound from the speaker, contact Apple Support. If your device has a Ring/Silent switch, make sure it's set to ring

ps sometimes turning it off and on can help
