That is normal if you are pressing moderately to firmly hard. If you are barely pressing down onto the screen then yes that’s a pretty cheap screen you have there.

Last time this happened, cex/game wouldn't accept as a trade in, I may try again.

Nah, you’re just pressing too hard. If I were to press hard on my iPad’s screen which has never been changed and is OEM I get the same result.
