I replaced my dock connector but now signal is bad

i replaced my dock connecter today and am having very bad singal issues and also my microphone is not working so i can not make any calls because people can not hear me.

does any one have any ideas on why the mic is no working or is it a faulty part???

Why did you replace your dock connector in the first place?

the connector was broken, would not charge or any thing. but mic was working fine.

If you are very skilled you could desolder and resolder the old mic. But this does not help with the signal issues. Signal problems can be because the tall copper pin of Logic Board that is supposed to contact the bezel is not contacting the bezel near #7. Signal problems can be due to Connector #7 not being on right. Signal problems can be due to the antenna screw loop on the right side of the dock is not on top of the bezel screw hole and not tightened down with the screw. Hopefully a new dock will fix everything.
